Double Page Spread Construction

Here are a few screen shots of the development of the DPS. I chose this photo as it had a lot of negative space around it, which I could fit text around. I also liked the darkness as it gives an enigmatic feel that anchors with the artist's persona. Firstly I blurred the background in a similar way that is shown in the "Photoshop Technique 2" Video- (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_rhzJXlbaE). 

I created the headline, then copied the image layer, and deleted the background so the text would appear behind her head, even when i moved the layer/text.
