I have chosen these shots as they have a lot of negative space, which would be perfect for a conventional double page spread. Her body language also connotes confidence which can be aspirational particularly to the female audience. Due to the flash, the background gives a vignette feel, which I like. However, the background will need to be edited to be brighter for a more professional finish. 

I like these images as they connote exactly what I wanted: The Medium long-shot of the model, with her hands on her head and a direct gaze connotes power and dominance. However, for this to be my cover photo I will have to crop it.
